"How do I want to feel when waking up every morning?"

I asked myself this question when things were not great in life. I reached a point in my career I felt the work I did was not meaningful anymore.

 

From the outside, life looked great for me. I was earning a comfortable six-figure salary, I was managing projects that helped multinational companies to become better in what they do and my husband and I had just purchased a lovely condominium in the heart of Singapore. A life that I dreamt of having when I entered the workforce years ago. And it did feel great for a period of time. Until it did not anymore.

There was a feeling of heaviness in my chest when waking up in the morning, that I did not want to start the day, did not want to face the responsibilities that were waiting, and felt a sense of helplessness and being trapped. This feeling started to extend to many areas of my life until I could not enjoy the simplest things in life such as watching a movie or going out on a date. That's when I knew I had to do something.

That's when I found coaching. It gave me perspectives in life that I had not known was possible. Every day, I feel like I make new discoveries, and I started to feel purposeful again. I am using my gift that I did not know was hidden inside me to help others to do the same.

My career-focused coaching program helps those who identify their major challenges around their work, e.g.

  • I used to enjoy my job, but now I'm not

  • I've changed my job multiple times but I just keep on going into something I don't enjoy...

  • I'm feeling burnt out all the time; I feel stressed about Mondays...

  • Something has changed in my life (marriage, kids, medical) that is pulling me away from work

My proven framework:

  1. Identify the root causes of your dissatisfaction through deep conversations within oneself sessions

  2. Define potential career paths that suit your purpose, your strength, and your life situation through discovering your authentic best self around work

  3. Understand pre-requisites and option spaces to meet these career goals

  4. Define an action plan and take first actions toward the desired outcome

  5. Review progress and adjust the action plan

Total commitment: Period of 4-6 months with around 12-20 sessions and unlimited WA or e-mail support

My life-focused coaching program helps those who struggle with their identity in life beyond work:

To live an authentic life full of purpose and energy, there are five aspects that need to work: Romantic Relationships, Family and Friends, Health and Wellness, Job and Finances, and Personal Enjoyment. The issue is often that our life is skewed towards one or two aspects but we neglect the others. In my life-focused coaching program, we will go through a systematic way to examine all aspects, form a vision for each, why you want to get there and how to get there. The goal is re-connect with your authentic best self.

 

My proven framework:

  1. Complete scan through all five areas and identify areas of attention

  2. Form a story and vision of your best authentic self

  3. Define strategies to achieve the vision

  4. Breakdown of strategy into smaller goals and steps

  5. Take action and review progress

​

Commitment: Period of 6-12 months with around 20 sessions and unlimited WA or e-mail support.

Your own Life vision board and/or story map, authentic self character assessment.
